Cookies, in plain words.

Roavi keeps a few small things in your browser. Most of them keep you signed in. The rest only happen if you say yes. Here is every one, what it does, how long it stays, and how to change your mind.

What Roavi counts on its own

We count visits to find what’s broken, on our own servers.

We record which pages open, what you tap (the button’s label), how far you scroll and which headings you reach, how many characters you copy (never the text), and the size of your browser window, its language and connection type (like 4G). The pages of one visit are grouped by a random code that is deleted when you close the tab.

If you accept analytics, the code lasts between visits. If you sign up later, those earlier visits join your account.

Never recorded

  • What you type into any field
  • Passwords
  • What your messages say (only their length)
  • Your name or email, before you sign up

Change your mind, any time

  1. Cookie settings, in the footer

At the bottom of every Roavi page. Opens the same switches you first saw.

  2. The card at the top of this page

Flip a switch and save. Saying no to analytics deletes the returning-visit code.

  3. Your browser

Block or delete cookies there. Blocking necessary ones signs you out.

Questions

Roavi works exactly the same. You can search, message and sign up. We just can’t tell that two visits came from the same browser.
