Roavi for press
Roavi is a global social marketplace connecting people with local friends to experience cities through real human connection.
About Roavi
Roavi is a global platform that connects people with local friends for real-life social and cultural experiences. Roavi is built for those who want more than recommendations: they want someone local.
People don't need more apps. They need better connection.
Our origin
Roavi was founded by Oscar Garcia to make cities feel more social, accessible, and human. As travel, remote living, and urban isolation increased, Roavi was created to help people explore and connect without pressure.
What people use Roavi for
- Meeting a local friend when visiting or living in a new city
- Exploring nightlife, food, culture, and hidden spots with someone who knows the area
- Attending venues, events, or concerts without going alone
- Social discovery without dating pressure or awkwardness
- Experiencing cities through people, not just places
How Roavi works
- 01Users create an account and explore local friends by city and vibe
- 02Local friends showcase who they are, what they're good for, and their availability
- 03Connections and plans are coordinated directly between users
- 04Local friends set their own pricing, boundaries, and availability
- 05Roavi operates as a marketplace, not a service provider
Trust, safety & community
Roavi is built on trust. The platform includes a team review of every Local Friend profile, an identity check for Verified Locals, community guidelines, reporting and moderation tools, and transparent communication between users.
Our vision
Roavi's mission is to become the global layer of local connection. Cities should feel social, not isolating, and experiences are better when shared.
Partnerships
Roavi collaborates with venues, creators, event organizers, and communities worldwide.
Contact partnershipsRoavi doesn't sell links, sponsored posts or paid placements, and doesn't add links to its guides on request.
Note: Roavi does not provide services directly. Users and local friends coordinate experiences independently.
