Getting to Railay and the islands#
Railay is reached only by longtail, from Ao Nang or Krabi town. Boats run all November; early in the month a rough day can pause or delay them, so don't plan a tight connection. Shoulder season until December. Ao Nang and Krabi town have plenty of choice; Railay costs more because everything comes by boat. Compared with Phuket in November, Krabi is usually cheaper and quieter.
